- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans as per customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch teams.
- Monitor production progress against the planned schedule.
- Prepare and maintain production planning reports, MIS and status reports.
- Check raw material and component availability before production planning.
- Follow up on material shortages and coordinate with Stores/Purchase for timely availability.
- Monitor machine capacity, manpower availability and production targets.
- Track WIP, finished goods and pending production orders.
- Identify production delays and coordinate with concerned departments for corrective action.
- Maintain proper production records and ensure timely updating of ERP/system.
- Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyze production data and support improvement in productivity, efficiency and utilization.
- Ensure production plans are aligned with customer delivery schedules.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC).
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and production MIS.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to prepare production reports and analyze data.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 1–5 years in PPC/Production Planning in a manufacturing industry.
- Candidates with experience in automobile/engineering component manufacturing will be preferred.
