Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead the clinical

function, drive quality of patient care, ensure clinical governance, and strengthen medical operations

across the organization. The role will work closely with senior leadership, doctors, hospital operations,

and cross-functional teams to achieve clinical and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

● Provide strategic leadership and direction to the medical and clinical functions across

hospitals/centres.

● Establish and maintain high standards of clinical quality, patient safety, and medical

governance.

● Lead, mentor, and engage doctors, surgeons, and clinical teams to improve performance and

patient outcomes.

● Develop and implement clinical protocols, SOPs, treatment guidelines, and quality standards.

● Monitor key clinical KPIs, patient outcomes, complications, readmissions, patient feedback, and

overall quality metrics.

● Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and ethical

medical practices.

● Drive clinical audits, medical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

● Collaborate with Operations, Nursing, Finance, HR, and other teams to improve overall hospital

performance.

● Support recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and performance management of doctors and

clinical staff.

● Review and resolve complex clinical escalations, patient complaints, and medico-legal matters.

● Build strong relationships with consultants, surgeons, medical professionals, and external

healthcare stakeholders.





● Identify opportunities to improve clinical efficiency, patient experience, and treatment

outcomes.

● Participate in leadership reviews and provide data-driven recommendations to senior

management.

● Drive adoption of technology, clinical documentation standards, and data-driven healthcare

Practices.

Candidate Requirements

● MBBS is mandatory

● 8+ years of relevant clinical experience, with substantial experience in a leadership role.

● Strong experience in hospital/healthcare operations and clinical governance.

● Proven ability to lead and manage senior doctors and multidisciplinary clinical teams.

● Strong understanding of healthcare quality standards, clinical protocols, and regulatory

compliance.

● Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder-management, and decision-making skills.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving approach with the ability to work in a quick-paced

healthcare environment.

● Experience in a multi-specialty hospital, healthcare chain, or high-growth healthcare

organization will be preferred.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
