Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in construction estimation, quantity take-offs, cost control, and BOQ preparation. The candidate must be capable of reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to calculate quantities accurately and support project budgeting and execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Read, interpret, and analyse architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for residential buildings, villas, and construction projects.
- Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for civil, finishing, and other construction works.
- Calculate quantities for excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement steel, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, waterproofing, and other construction activities.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, rate analysis, and material quantity calculations.
- Verify quantities against drawings, specifications, and actual site conditions.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, project managers, and site engineers to clarify drawing discrepancies.
- Compare vendor and subcontractor quotations and assist in cost negotiations.
- Monitor project costs, material consumption, and budget variations.
- Prepare measurement sheets, running account (RA) bills, and final bills.
- Identify discrepancies in quantities and recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Maintain accurate records of BOQs, estimates, revisions,



and project documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in building construction, residential projects, or villa construction.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
- Positive understanding of structural drawings, reinforcement details, and MEP drawings.
- Proficiency in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, estimation, and rate analysis.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for drawing review and measurement extraction.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and construction estimation tools.
- Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, measurement standards, and market rates.
- Strong analytical, numerical, documentation, and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in residential buildings, luxury villas, and multi-storey construction projects.
- Ability to independently prepare a complete BOQ from architectural and structural drawings.
- Experience in cost planning, budget monitoring, billing, and subcontractor measurements.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to read architectural plans, extract quantities accurately, prepare detailed BOQs, and estimate construction costs independently.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
