- Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Agriculture
- Experience: Prior hands-on experience in polyhouse management is mandatory.
- Practical knowledge of coloured capsicum cultivation is preferred.
Project & Infrastructure Details
- Total Area: 1.75 Acres
- Structure: Single Naturally Ventilated Polyhouse (NVPH)
- Crop: Coloured Capsicum (Red & Yellow)
- Growing Media: Cocopeat in grow bags
- Automation: Automated irrigation, fertigation and fogger systems
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily sand filter cleaning and monitor operating pressure.
- Operate and manage the fertiliser preparation area and control room.
- Manage light and ventilation by manually operating curtains and shade nets as required.
- Allocate daily tasks to labourers and supervise their work.
- Monitor crop growth,
plant health, and general polyhouse conditions.
- Coordinate irrigation, fertigation and fogger operations.
- Maintain daily activity records, crop observations and operational logs.
- Submit daily reports to the Senior Agronomist and coordinate with the technical team.
- Ensure proper hygiene, maintenance and efficient use of resources within the polyhouse.
