- Operate CNC VTL, HBM, and other CNC machines for precision machining of heavy engineering components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, process sheets, and machining specifications.
- Perform machine setup, tool offset adjustments, and process optimization.
- Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Follow safety, quality, and production standards.
- Maintain machine logs, production records, and 5S practices.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to meet delivery schedules.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in CNC Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL)
- Experience in Horizontal Boring Machines (HBM)
- Knowledge of 3-Axis & 5-Axis CNC Machining
- Understanding of G-Codes & M-Codes
- Hands-on experience with Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, and Dial Indicators
- Experience in Heavy Engineering or Oil & Gas Manufacturing preferred
