Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled or semi-skilled Edge Banding Machine Operator to operate and maintain edge banding machinery used in modular furniture manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for applying edge bands to plywood, MDF, particle board, and other panel materials with accurate finishing and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate automatic or semi-automatic edge banding machines safely and efficiently.
- Apply PVC, ABS, acrylic, and other edge banding materials as per job specifications.
- Set machine parameters such as temperature, feed speed, trimming, scraping, and buffing.
- Ensure proper edge adhesion, accurate trimming, and smooth finishing.
- Check panel dimensions, edge thickness, colour matching, and overall product quality.
- Identify and correct issues such as glue marks, uneven edges, chipping, and loose edge bands.
- Coordinate with the cutting, drilling, and assembly departments to maintain production flow.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, maintenance,



and basic troubleshooting.
- Follow production schedules, material usage guidelines, and safety procedures.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and minimize material wastage.

Required Skills

- Experience operating an edge banding machine.
- Knowledge of PVC/ABS edge bands and hot-melt adhesives.
- Understanding of furniture panel materials and edge finishing.
- Ability to identify finishing defects and maintain quality standards.
- Basic machine setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail, punctuality, and teamwork.

Qualification

- Class 10 pass / ITI or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- Relevant machine operating experience is an advantage.

- Consistent edge finishing quality.
- Minimum material wastage and rejection.
- Timely completion of production targets.
- Safe machine operation and proper maintenance.

Salary

Range : 15000-35000

As per experience, skills, and company policy.

Work Location: Factory Location

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
