Job Details
- Position: Sales Engineer
- Department: Sales & Marketing
- Location: Metoda GIDC, Rajkot, Gujarat
- Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or a related engineering field
- Experience: 1–3 years preferred; freshers with strong technical and communication skills may apply
- Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
_ Key Responsibilities_
- Generate new business leads and develop sales opportunities in the industrial refrigeration and HVAC sector.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable refrigeration and cooling solutions.
- Handle inquiries related to Water Chillers, Water Coolers, Dehumidifiers, Refrigerated Air Dryers, Panel Air Conditioners, Oil Chillers, and other industrial cooling products.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations, proposals, and product presentations.
- Follow up on inquiries and quotations to convert prospects into confirmed orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial customers, dealers, consultants, and business partners.
- Coordinate with design, production, purchase, and service departments for smooth order execution.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain sales reports,
customer records, inquiry trackers, and sales forecasts.
- Work towards achieving monthly sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
_ Required Skills_
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Technical understanding of refrigeration, HVAC, or industrial equipment.
- Ability to understand customer needs and suggest appropriate technical solutions.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, email, and sales reporting.
- Solid follow-up, problem-solving, and relationship-management abilities.
- A proactive, target-oriented, and professional approach to work.
- Willingness to learn new products and develop technical sales expertise.
