- Prepare mechanical design drawings for LV electrical panels, including PCC, MCC, APFC, and other control panels.
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, enclosure layouts, fabrication drawings, and detailed component drawings.
- Prepare sheet metal fabrication drawings, including cutting, bending, punching, and assembly details.
- Create 2D drawings using AutoCAD and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Design panel enclosures, mounting plates, doors, partitions, and internal structural components.
- Review electrical schematics and coordinate with electrical design engineers for proper component mounting and space allocation.
- Ensure designs meet customer specifications, manufacturing requirements, and applicable industry standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, Purchase, and Quality teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Modify existing drawings based on customer feedback, engineering changes, and production requirements.
- Support prototype development, design validation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain drawing revisions, technical documentation, and BOM-related details.

Required Skills

- 5–10 years of experience in mechanical design within the LV electrical panel manufacturing industry.




- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and mechanical drafting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical panel enclosures and sheet metal fabrication.
- Experience with GA drawings, fabrication drawings, component layouts, and assembly drawings.
- Understanding of cutting, bending, punching, welding, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and coordinate with electrical design teams.
- Strong problem-solving, technical documentation, and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with hands-on experience in LV panel manufacturing are preferred.
- Experience with PCC, MCC, APFC, and control panel designs will be an advantage.
- Candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of handling design activities independently.
