Location: Thennampalayam-Coimbatore

Job Title: Injection Mould-QA

Exp: 2-5 yrs

Qualification: BE/DME-Mech

- Perform incoming material checks (e.g., polymer resins, masterbatches, packaging).
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process line checks, and final pre-dispatch audits.
- Spot and categorize common injection moulding defects like flash, sink marks, short shots, warpage, burn marks, flow marks, and air bubbles.
- Use precision measuring tools—such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, plug gauges, or CMM
- Perform functional fit checks, leak tests, or torque tests as required.
- Maintain daily inspection logs, rejection/scrap records, and quality control reports.
- Document non-conforming items and enforce proper quarantine/segregation of rejected batches.
- Support root cause analysis using tools like 5 Why, Ishikawa (fishbone) diagrams, or 7 QC Tools.
- Coordinate with Production, Tool Room,



and Maintenance teams to adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cooling time) and fix mold issues.
- Understanding of plastic materials (e.g., ABS, Nylon, PP, PE) and the injection moulding process.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerance stacks, and GD&T;
- Familiarity with quality frameworks and tools (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, SPC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA where applicable for automotive/industrial parts).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Education:

- Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

- Plastics injection moulding: 2 years (Preferred)
- QA-Injection Mould: 3 years (Preferred)
