V Chains is a jewellery wholesale company with 35 years of experience in Zaveri Bazaar. We supply chains, kadas, bracelets and sets to retailers and showrooms. We are looking for a reliable Accountant to manage our books and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries in Tally
- Maintain cash book, bank book and party-wise ledgers; do bank reconciliation
- Maintain gold and (fine weight) accounts and reconcile metal and stock records
- Track metal issued to and received from karigars, including labour
- Follow up on outstanding payments and prepare ageing reports
- handle -invoicing
- Handle payment and return
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and coordinate with our CA for audit, finalisation and ITR
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter or equivalent is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP 9, GST and TDS
- Good MS Excel skills
- Experience in jewellery,
- Good communication in Hindi and English (Gujarati/Marathi is a plus)
- Honest, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
