Job Summary

Batra Bros Food and Beverages Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced finance professional to manage receivables, online food delivery and dining platform settlements, debtor reconciliations, and collection follow-ups. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally, advanced MS Excel, POS software, and online portals and other food delivery and dining platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Online Portal Management

- Manage and reconcile transactions from online platforms and other food delivery and dining platforms.
- Verify sales, commissions, discounts, promotional offers, deductions, and settlement amounts.
- Track pending payments, short settlements, and discrepancies reported by online platforms.
- Coordinate with platform representatives to resolve settlement-related issues

2.Debtors Management & Reconciliation

- Maintain and reconcile debtor accounts and outstanding receivables.
- Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts, corporate accounts, and online platform balances.
- Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely collection follow-ups.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between invoices, sales records, and payments received.
- Prepare debtor ageing reports and outstanding payment statements.

3.Tally & Accounting

- Record and verify receipts, sales-related entries, and settlement transactions in Tally.
- Ensure accurate accounting of platform commissions, discounts, deductions, and receivables.
- Reconcile ledger balances with portal statements, bank credits, and POS reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for accounting entries.

4.POS Software & Sales Reconciliation

- Work with restaurant POS software to extract and verify outlet-wise sales data.
- Reconcile POS sales with online platform reports, accounting records, and bank settlements.
- Investigate differences in sales, discounts, cancellations, refunds, and payment collections.
- Coordinate with outlet teams to resolve operational and financial discrepancies.

5.MIS & Advanced Excel





- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly receivables and collection reports.
- Develop outlet-wise and platform-wise reconciliation statements.
- Prepare ageing analysis, pending settlement reports, and exception reports.
- Use advanced Excel functions, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF formulas, and other data analysis tools.
- Support monthly closing and management reporting requirements.

6.Communication & Coordination

- Communicate effectively with online platform representatives, outlet teams, and internal finance departments.
- Follow up regularly on overdue payments and unresolved reconciliation issues.
- Escalate long-pending discrepancies and payment delays to management.
- Ensure timely resolution of queries and maintain professional working relationships.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field; M.Com/MBA Finance will be an added advantage.
- Relevant experience in receivables, debtor reconciliation, or finance and accounts.
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Strong knowledge of advanced MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Hands-on experience with online platforms such as online portals and other food delivery and dining platforms.
- Knowledge of restaurant POS software and sales reconciliation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple outlets, deadlines, and payment follow-ups.

Experience Required

- Senior Executive: 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or food and beverage industry will be preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely reconciliation of online platform settlements.
- Reduction in outstanding receivables and overdue payments.
- Accurate and timely debtor reconciliation.
- Timely identification and resolution of settlement discrepancies.
- Accuracy of outlet-wise and platform-wise MIS reports.
- Timely completion of monthly receivables closing activities.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
