- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the OPD, Emergency, ICU and Inpatient Ward.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids and prescribed treatments as per the doctor's instructions and hospital protocols.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures and emergency interventions.
- Recognise changes in a patient's condition and promptly inform the treating doctor.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient records, medication charts and treatment documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, hand hygiene, biomedical waste management and patient safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for investigations,
procedures and surgeries as required.
- Ensure proper handover of patients during shift changes.
- Check and maintain nursing equipment, emergency trays and essential supplies.
- Educate patients and their attendants regarding treatment, medication and discharge instructions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, skilled conduct and compassionate communication.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing standards and applicable clinical protocols.
