· Quality Systems & Compliance: Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 tailored to automotive and general engineering standards.

· Core Automotive Tools: Oversee APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and control plans for new die-casting projects.

· Process & Casting Quality Control: Monitor die-casting parameters (shot weight, pressure, temperature, cycle time) to reduce common casting defects like porosity, shrinkage, cold shuts, and flash.

· Inspections & Metrology: Manage incoming raw material checks (aluminium/zinc alloy certifications), in-process dimensional checks, and final outgoing inspections using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), X-ray for porosity detection, and spectrometers.

· Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions: Lead 8D problem-solving methodologies, customer complaint resolutions, and internal/external rejection reduction programs.

· Supplier & Customer Audits: Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality audits, supplier quality assurance (SQA), and third-party certification audits.





· Team Leadership & Scrap Reduction: Manage the QA/QC team, train operators on quality standards, and drive Lean/Six Sigma projects to lower scrap and rework rates.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering.

· Experience: 8 to 10+ years of hands-on quality management experience specifically within an HPDC, foundry, or automotive component manufacturing setup.

· Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of aluminium/die-casting processes,

· Certifications: Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Lead Auditor credentials for IATF 16949 are strongly preferred.

· Soft Skills: Strong leadership, cross-functional communication, analytical problem-solving, and customer-facing negotiation skills.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
