Job Title: QS Engineer Trainee – MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QS Engineer Trainee to support the Quantity Surveying team in MEP projects. The candidate will assist with quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, cost control, and measurement of MEP works under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing and reviewing the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for MEP works.
- Support quantity take-offs from MEP drawings, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Assist in preparing client bills, subcontractor bills, and running account (RA) bills.
- Verify site measurements and compare executed work with approved drawings.
- Help prepare rate analysis, cost estimates, and project budgets.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project teams, and the billing department for quantity verification.
- Maintain records of measurements, material consumption, and project expenses.
- Assist in checking material requirements and variations in project quantities.
- Learn to identify discrepancies between drawings, BOQs, and actual site execution.




- Prepare daily and monthly quantity reports as required by the project team.

Eligibility Criteria

- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of MEP systems and construction drawings is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Good numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn quantity surveying, billing, and cost estimation processes.
