We are looking for an experienced Senior Staff Nurse – OT to provide quality nursing care in the Operation Theatre, assist surgical teams, and ensure patient safety and smooth functioning of OT activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the OT, surgical instruments, and equipment.
- Ensure proper sterilisation, disinfection, and infection control practices.
- Monitor patient safety and assist in pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of surgical instruments.
- Maintain OT records, checklists, and documentation.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anaesthesia teams, and other nursing staff.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
- Guide and support junior nursing staff in OT procedures.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: GNM / BSc Nursing.
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant OT experience in a hospital.
- Valid Karnataka Nursing Council registration preferred.
- Positive knowledge of surgical procedures, OT protocols, and infection control practices.
- Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
Preferred: Candidates with hands-on experience in a multispecialty hospital OT.
