A CT & MRI Technician is responsible for performing CT (Computed Tomography) and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scans to help doctors diagnose various medical conditions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT and MRI examinations.
- Verify patient details and scan requests.
- Explain scanning procedures and ensure patient comfort.
- Position patients correctly for accurate imaging.
- Operate CT and MRI machines and select appropriate scan protocols.
- Screen patients for MRI safety risks and contraindications.
- Assist with contrast administration according to authorized procedures.
- Maintain image quality and follow departmental protocols.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and MRI safety precautions.
- Monitor patients during scanning and report any concerns.
- Maintain patient records and transfer images to the radiology system.
- Clean and maintain scanning equipment and the examination room.
- Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
