Key Responsibilities

Pattern Making

- Prepare, manufacture and modify patterns as per engineering drawings and casting requirements.
- Read and understand technical drawings, dimensions and specifications.
- Develop and maintain patterns for different types of castings.
- Ensure proper pattern dimensions, accuracy, finishing and quality.
- Work with wood, metal, plastic or other pattern-making materials as required.
- Coordinate with moulding and core-making teams to ensure proper pattern suitability.
- Carry out pattern repair, modification and maintenance as required.
- Identify and rectify pattern-related defects affecting casting quality.
- Ensure proper storage, identification and maintenance of patterns.




- Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet casting requirements.

Required Skills

- Minimum 5+ years of practical experience in pattern making/foundry operations.
- Practical knowledge of pattern manufacturing, modification and maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of pattern dimensions, allowances and shrinkage.
- Experience in steel foundry operations will be preferred.
- Knowledge of different pattern materials and pattern-making techniques.
- Ability to identify and rectify pattern-related casting defects.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Strong focus on quality and safety.
