About Cooltech Engineers

Cooltech Engineers is an established HVAC solutions provider with over 25 years of industry experience, specializing in commercial and industrial air conditioning systems, including VRF systems, ductable units, chillers, and related HVAC solutions.

We are looking for an experienced and technically capable professional who can manage HVAC sales, prepare accurate BOQs and quotations, and work confidently with AutoCAD drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- HVAC Sales & Business Development: Identify potential clients, develop business opportunities, follow up on enquiries, and convert leads into orders.
- BOQ Preparation: Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and commercial quotations for HVAC projects.
- AutoCAD Drafting: Read, interpret, and work on HVAC layouts, technical drawings, and AutoCAD files.
- Technical Estimation: Evaluate project requirements, equipment specifications, quantities, and installation materials to prepare accurate estimates.
- Client Coordination: Understand client requirements, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and provide suitable HVAC solutions.
- Vendor Coordination: Obtain equipment and material pricing from OEMs and suppliers and prepare competitive quotations.
- Tendering & Documentation: Prepare technical and commercial submissions, costing sheets, and tender documents.
- Sales Follow-up: Track enquiries, follow up on submitted quotations, negotiate commercially, and support order closure.
- Internal Coordination:



Coordinate with the execution and service teams to ensure clarity on project scope and technical requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in HVAC sales, estimation, or project tendering.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, including the ability to read and work with HVAC drawings.
- Proven ability to prepare HVAC BOQs, estimates, and quotations independently.
- Understanding of HVAC systems such as VRF, ductable air conditioning, chillers, and associated installation materials.
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment selection, ducting, piping, insulation, and installation requirements.
- Good commercial understanding, costing skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other standard office tools.

What We’re Looking For

We need someone who combines technical HVAC knowledge with sales and commercial capabilities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interpreting drawings, preparing BOQs from project requirements, developing accurate quotations, and actively pursuing business opportunities.

Candidates who can independently handle HVAC estimation and AutoCAD work, while also contributing to sales conversion, will be preferred.

Compensation

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience, technical expertise, and suitability for the role.
