Senior Consultant – Oracle Hyperion / EPM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant – Oracle Hyperion / EPM to support finance transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle Planning and budgeting solutions, including Hyperion Planning, Essbase, PBCS and EPBCS, with a strong track record of end-to-end implementations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development and deployment of Oracle Hyperion Planning, Essbase, PBCS and EPBCS applications.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Develop business rules, calculation scripts, Groovy scripts, forms, dashboards and reports.
- Manage data integrations, metadata, custom cubes and reporting cubes.
- Coordinate testing, UAT, deployment, hypercare and issue resolution.
- Optimize application performance and support ongoing enhancements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams and global delivery teams.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and profitability management processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Eligible degree in Engineering, Commerce, Science, Management or CA.




- 5–9 years of relevant Oracle Hyperion / EPM experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase.
- Implementation experience with PBCS / EPBCS.
- At least 3 end-to-end Oracle EPM / Planning implementations.
- Experience with Groovy scripting, MDX calculations and EPM Automate.
- Knowledge of business rules, forms, dashboards, data integration and metadata management.
- Experience with Shared Services, user provisioning and security configuration.
- Understanding of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.

Preferred Skills

- Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service (PCMCS).
- Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS).
- Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Service (EPRCS).
- Batch/shell scripting and performance optimization.
