Core Responsibilities (Commercial Building)

- Cost Estimation & Take-offs: Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from engineering and GFC (Good for Construction) drawings.
- Bill of Quantities (BOQ): Develop and manage BOQs for civil, structural, and infrastructure work packages.
- Billing & Valuations: Review, verify, and certify contractor, vendor, and sub-contractor interim/final bills against site progress and contract conditions.
- Tendering & Procurement: Assist in preparing tender documents, evaluating contractor bids, and conducting rate analysis.
- Budget & Cost Control: Track actual spending against budgets, monitor cost variances, and prepare periodic financial reports.
- Variations & Claims: Evaluate scope changes, variation orders, and extension-of-time (EOT) claims to negotiate fair pricing.
- Final Accounts: Reconcile all measurements, claims, and retentions to close out project financial records.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech)



or Diploma in Civil Engineering, or a specialized degree/postgraduate qualification in Quantity Surveying (such as NICMAR programs in India).
- Experience: Typically ranges from 3 to 8+ years depending on the seniority level (Assistant QS, Site QS, or Senior QS/Commercial Manager).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and measurement software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, or scheduling tools like MS Project / Primavera P6.
- Strong grasp of Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), rate analysis, and contract standards (FIDIC, etc.).
- Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, negotiation, attention to detail, and cross-team coordination (site, planning, and client teams).

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
