VENSAI FIRE SAFETY PVT. LTD. is looking for an experienced and technically skilled Fire Fighting Site Engineer for our ongoing Lucknow Airport Project.
The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in fire protection system installation, site execution, manpower management, quality control, testing, commissioning, and project coordination.
The candidate should be capable of independently handling fire fighting installation activities and ensuring that all works are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, applicable standards, and safety requirements.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Fire Fighting System Installation
Supervise complete installation of fire fighting systems.
Fire Hydrant and Sprinkler System installation.
Fire Pump Room installation and piping works.
Wet Riser and Downcomer Systems.
MS/GI piping, grooved fittings, threaded joints and welding works.
Installation of valves, flow switches, pressure gauges and accessories.
Coordinate underground and above-ground fire fighting piping works.
2. Site Execution & Supervision
Independently manage daily site execution activities.
Allocate manpower and monitor productivity.
Coordinate with supervisors, technicians and subcontractors.
Ensure work completion as per approved drawings.
Monitor daily progress against project schedules.
Identify and resolve site execution issues.
3. Technical Knowledge
Ability to read and interpret Fire Fighting Shop Drawings.
Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and coordination layouts.
Understanding of P&ID;, pipe sizing and installation procedures.
Knowledge of NFPA standards and applicable Indian Standards.
Understanding of BOQ, material specifications and installation requirements.
4. Testing & Commissioning
Hydrostatic Pressure Testing.
Pipe Flushing and System Cleaning.
Fire Pump Testing and Commissioning.
Sprinkler and Hydrant System Testing.
Preparation of inspection and testing reports.
Coordination with client and consultant during inspections.
5. Quality Control & Safety
Ensure installation quality meets project specifications.
Prepare and close site inspection requests.
Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements.
Monitor material quality and installation workmanship.
Rectify site observations and NCRs.
6. Project Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with client, consultants and main contractor.
Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
Monitor material requirements and consumption.
Maintain installation and testing records.
Support measurement sheets and RA billing.
Report project progress to the Project Manager.

Required Skills
✅ Minimum 5 years of Fire Fighting Installation experience.
✅ Strong technical knowledge of Sprinkler, Hydrant and Fire Pump Systems.
✅ Ability to independently manage site activities.
✅ Experience in airport, commercial, industrial or large infrastructure projects preferred.
✅ Good knowledge of NFPA and relevant IS standards.
✅ Experience in manpower management and project coordination.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings.
✅ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Candidate Requirements
Education: B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory
Experience: Minimum 5 Years in Fire Fighting System Installation – Mandatory
