- Animate movement sets. These are the everyday motions a game character needs: idle, walk, run, jump, fall, swim and climb. A valuable set gives a character its own personality.
- Animate emotes and dances. Think Fortnite-style emotes, or trending TikTok dances animated onto 3D characters.
- Make it feel right in-game. Get timing, weight, expression and loops right, then refine through feedback.
- Where this role goes
You'll start by focusing on your own animation work. As you settle in, you'll take on more of our freelance animators, eventually guiding a team of 5–6 with briefs, feedback, quality and delivery. If you want to grow from animator to animation lead,
this is that path.
Tools
- Roblox Studio: All our animations end up in Roblox Studio, so that's where your work needs to land. No experience is needed. It's similar to Unity but simpler, and we'll teach you in the office.
- Blender: This is how we get there. We animate in Blender and bring the work into Roblox Studio.
- Maya: If Maya is your main tool, apply anyway. We can port Maya animations into Blender, and we're open to a direct Maya-to-Roblox route if you can show us how you'd bridge it
Pay: ₹40,000.00 per month
Application Question(s):
- Do you have experience in 3D tools like Blender or Maya?
- Are you currently involved in gaming animation?
Work Location: In person
