Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Powder Coating Engineer to oversee powder coating operations, ensure coating quality, maintain process parameters, and achieve production targets. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in powder coating processes, troubleshooting, quality inspection, and production management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day powder coating operations and ensure smooth production.
- Monitor and control coating parameters such as temperature, curing time, film thickness, and powder application.
- Ensure proper surface preparation, pretreatment, and coating application.
- Inspect finished products for coating defects, including pinholes, orange peel, uneven coating, and poor adhesion.
- Troubleshoot coating process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Monitor powder consumption, material usage, and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality control teams.




- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of powder coating equipment, spray guns, booths, and curing ovens.
- Maintain production records, inspection reports, and process documentation.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain 5S standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in powder coating operations.
- Good knowledge of powder coating processes, pretreatment, and curing oven operations.
- Understanding of coating thickness measurement, adhesion testing, and visual inspection.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot coating defects.
- Knowledge of quality standards, process control, and production planning.
- Positive communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
