Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Tandoor Cook to join our kitchen team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic tandoori dishes, maintaining food quality, managing tandoor operations, and ensuring hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of tandoori dishes, including tandoori roti, naan, kulcha, paratha, kebabs, tikka, and other tandoor-based items.
- Operate and maintain the tandoor efficiently while following safety procedures.
- Prepare marinades, spice mixes,



and other ingredients according to the hotel's recipes and standards.
- Ensure the proper taste, texture, presentation, and consistency of all dishes.
- Monitor food quality and ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tandoor section and surrounding kitchen area.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen team members to ensure timely food preparation.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.

Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Tandoor Cook in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality establishment.
- Positive knowledge of Indian tandoori cuisine and traditional tandoor cooking techniques.
- Ability to prepare different types of Indian breads, kebabs, and tandoori starters.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, kitchen safety, and proper food storage practices.

Salary & Benefits
