About Us
A newly established CA practice in Thrissur with a strategic focus on Virtual CFO services, corporate finance advisory, and statutory compliance. We work with growth-stage businesses, SMEs, and retail clients across Kerala and on a remote basis. Early team members will have scope to grow with the practice and take on direct client responsibility from day one.
Role Overview
We are looking for a self-driven professional who can independently anchor day-to-day client engagements — managing both advisory and compliance mandates — without requiring close supervision. This is a long-term career opportunity, not a transient assignment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage vCFO retainer engagements: monthly MIS packs, CMA data, cash flow statements, and management reporting
- Prepare financial projections, FP&A; models, and investor-ready reports for fundraising and credit appraisal mandates
- Coordinate on due diligence support, valuation workings, and M&A; data room management
- Supervise project milestones across advisory engagements; ensure timely delivery within budgeted hours
- Draft concise internal memorandums, management letters, and client-facing reports
Secondary / Compliance Responsibilities
- Plan and execute statutory audits, tax audits (Form 3CD/3CA/3CB), and limited reviews across diverse sectors
- Ensure compliance with AS, SAs issued by ICAI, CARO 2020, and Schedule III of the Companies Act 2013
- Review audit working papers, financial statements, disclosures, and notes to accounts for technical accuracy and risk assessment
- Handle ITR filings, ROC compliances, UDIN generation, and limited GST filings/audits within statutory deadlines
- Maintain peer-review readiness standards across all engagements
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in a CA firm environment
- CA Final / CA Intermediate cleared; strong experienced B.Com/MBA (Finance) considered for the right profile
- Hands-on proficiency in GST & ITR filings (Winman / similar), Tax Audits (3CD), and Statutory Audits
- Strong MS Excel and FP&A; skills: financial projections, CMA data preparation, MIS reporting
- Experience in management advisory / consulting engagements (an advantage)
- Practical exposure to Caseware-based audit working papers (added advantage — not mandatory)
- GCC accounting and UAE VAT compliance (Zoho Books / Tally Prime) — added advantage, not mandatory
- Ability to independently manage assignments and coordinate client deliverables without close supervision
- Drive technology adoption in audit automation, data analytics, and digital working-paper management
- Candidates based in or settled around Thrissur will be preferred
Compensation
CTC ₹2.5 – 3.6 LPA depending on qualification and experience. Not a constraint for the right candidate. Performance-linked growth built into the role structure.
