Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to independently manage the

complete Accounts & Finance function of the manufacturing plant. The candidate will be

responsible for accounting operations, plant finance, costing, statutory compliance, MIS,

inventory accounting and coordination with management, auditors and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

 Manage complete day-to-day Accounts & Finance operations of the plant.

 Handle Accounts Payable, Receivable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation and

Cash Flow.

 Manage GST, TDS, PF/ESI and other applicable statutory compliance in

coordination with relevant teams.

 Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheet schedules and management reports.

 Monitor plant costing, product/job costing, material consumption and

manufacturing expenses.

 Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, PPC and Management for cost and

financial control.

 Monitor RM, WIP and finished goods inventory accounting and

conduct/coordinate periodic stock verification.

 Control expenses, overheads, working capital and cash flow of the plant.

 Manage customer/vendor ledgers, ageing analysis and timely follow-up for

receivables and payables.

 Coordinate with internal/statutory auditors,



banks, consultants and government

authorities as required.

 Ensure proper accounting documentation, controls and compliance with company

policies.

 Identify financial discrepancies, control costs and support management in financial

decision-making.

 Lead and supervise the plant accounts team and ensure timely completion of

accounting activities.

Candidate Requirements

 10–12 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in a

manufacturing/engineering plant.

 Strong hands-on experience in plant accounts, costing, inventory and financial

MIS.

 Good knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance and taxation.

 Experience with ERP/Tally/SAP or other accounting software and strong MS

Excel skills.

 Good understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory and working

capital.

 Robust analytical, reconciliation, reporting and problem-solving skills.

 Experience in sheet metal / fabrication / engineering / industrial manufacturing

will be preferred.

 Should be capable of independently managing the complete Accounts & Finance

function of a manufacturing plant.
