The above-mentioned positions are for MOH (Ministry of Health) Hospital Projects in the Sultanate of Oman. Selected candidates will be recruited to work in Oman under the company's employment visa and benefits package.

Job Description (JD)

Position: HVAC Technician

Job Location: Sultanate of Oman
Project: MOH (Ministry of Health) Hospital Projects

1. Educational Qualification

- Minimum SSC (10th Pass).
- Recognized ITI/Trade Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), HVAC, or a relevant technical trade (2–3 years).

2. Experience

- Minimum 5 years of relevant post-certification experience in HVAC operations and maintenance.
- Experience in central air-conditioning systems, chiller plants, and refrigeration systems is required.
- Hospital or hotel maintenance experience will be preferred.

3. Key Responsibilities

- Operate, inspect, maintain,



and troubleshoot central air-conditioning and chiller plant systems.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of chilled-water piping systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and associated HVAC equipment.
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC control systems and related electrical components.
- Maintain and service room air-conditioning units, comfort AC systems, and other cooling equipment.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of cold rooms and deep freezers.
- Diagnose HVAC system faults and carry out necessary repairs to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Read and interpret HVAC engineering drawings, layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance as per established schedules.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment logbooks, and breakdown reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards, particularly in critical hospital areas.

4. Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong practical knowledge of central HVAC systems and chiller plants.
- Hands-on experience with chilled-water piping, AHUs, HVAC controls, and refrigeration equipment.




- Ability to diagnose technical faults and perform troubleshooting independently.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and HVAC layouts.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
- Understanding of HVAC safety practices and equipment handling.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with the engineering and facility management teams.

5. Preferred Experience

- Previous experience in hospital HVAC maintenance.
- Experience in hotel engineering and facility maintenance.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems in critical healthcare environments.
