We are looking for confident, courteous, and service-oriented F&B; Captains to lead floor service operations and ensure every guest receives attentive and personalised service.

Job Description

The F&B; Captain will supervise restaurant floor operations, coordinate with service staff and the kitchen team, manage guest requests, and ensure smooth and efficient table service. The ideal candidates should have excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, a guest-first attitude, and experience in fine-dining or premium restaurant service.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily restaurant floor operations and ensure smooth service during all shifts.
- Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Manage table assignments, reservations, and guest seating arrangements.
- Guide and coordinate with stewards and service staff to maintain service standards.
- Explain menu items, ingredients, preparation styles, and chef recommendations to guests.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen for timely service.
- Ensure proper table setup, cutlery placement, service sequence, and table presentation.
- Monitor food delivery, order accuracy, and service timing.
- Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to communicate special requests and dietary preferences.




- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, hygiene, and overall floor presentation.
- Assist with billing, payment coordination, and table clearance when required.
- Support upselling and suggestive selling of menu items, beverages, and special promotions.
- Ensure compliance with restaurant SOPs and hospitality service standards.

Required Skills

- Excellent verbal communication and guest-handling skills.
- Strong knowledge of fine-dining service etiquette and table service procedures.
- Ability to explain menu items and make appropriate food recommendations.
- Good leadership and team coordination skills.
- Knowledge of POS billing systems and restaurant reservation procedures.
- Ability to handle guest complaints calmly and professionally.
- Strong attention to detail, personal grooming, and presentation.
- Customer-focused attitude and ability to work during busy service hours.

Eligibility Criteria

- Experience: 1–3 years in restaurant service, preferably in fine dining, hotels, or premium restaurants.
- Education: Hospitality / Hotel Management qualification preferred.
- Communication: Good communication skills in Hindi and Bengali; basic English communication preferred.
- Availability: Must be comfortable working rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
