Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Head – NPD to lead product development and project execution in a heavy engineering and electromechanical workplace. The candidate will oversee multiple projects, manage cross-functional teams, ensure quality and timely delivery, and report project status to top management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all project phases, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
- Manage project execution to meet timelines, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, business development, and internal engineering teams.
- Lead and mentor project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Prepare management reports, presentations, and project status updates.
- Identify project risks, delays, and scope changes and implement recovery plans.
- Manage client communication, negotiations,



and project expectations.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Required Skills

- Extensive experience in project and product development management.
- Experience in low-volume, highly engineered product development.
- Background in Aerospace, Defence, or Railways is preferred.
- Strong understanding of engineering disciplines and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Experience Required

20+ years in project/product development within a heavy engineering or electromechanical environment.

Additional Requirement

Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
