STM Journals, an imprint of Consortium eLearning Network Pvt. Ltd., is hiring a Commissioning Editor to manage digital forensics and cyber forensics journals, acquire quality research and coordinate the publication workflow.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage assigned journals in digital forensics, cyber forensics, cyber security, cybercrime investigation, and related areas, and maintain a steady manuscript pipeline.
- Identify and commission articles from researchers, professors, forensic experts and industry professionals in India and overseas.
- Invite and onboard editors, editorial board members and peer reviewers after verifying their qualifications and publication records.
- Screen manuscripts for scope, originality, completeness, formatting and ethical compliance.
- Coordinate peer review, author revisions, acceptance and final publication with the production team.
- Guide authors on submission requirements, plagiarism checks, copyright forms and declarations.
- Use Google Scholar, ORCID, IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital Library, Scopus and Web of Science to find researchers, and maintain verified author and reviewer databases.
- Follow publication ethics standards, including field-specific issues such as vulnerability disclosure,



harmful exploit details and personal data in case studies, and escalate misconduct.
- Prepare regular reports and meet targets for content acquisition, reviews and timely publication.

Required Qualifications

- Master's degree in Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, Forensic Science or a related field (M.Tech, M.Sc., MCA or equivalent). Ph.D. preferred.
- Strong understanding of academic research and scholarly communication.
- Excellent written and verbal English.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 1–4 years of experience in journal or academic publishing, editorial operations or research outreach, preferably in computer science, cyber security or forensics.
- Experience with peer-review management systems, author acquisition and editorial-board development.
- Confidence in communicating with professors, researchers and experts in India and overseas.
- Immediate joiners or those with a notice period of up to 15 days preferred.
