JD:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in software testing, including hands-on exposure to embedded software testing. The candidate should possess strong test design, test execution, and defect management skills, along with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in Smart Energy Meter and/or 4G/5G Cellular Modem testing will be an added advantage.

The ideal candidate should have a strong quality mindset, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to independently drive testing activities from test planning through execution and defect closure.

Preferred Experience:

- 2 to 4 years of experience in Software Testing.
- Experience in functional, integration, system and regression testing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Required Skills & Experience

- Overall 2-4 years of experience in Software Testing, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Embedded Software Testing preferred.
- Robust knowledge of test design techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis (BVA), Equivalence Partitioning, Decision Table Testing, Pairwise Testing, State Transition Testing & Use Case Testing
- Excellent test analysis, test design, test setup preparation, and test execution skills.
- Strong analytical, debugging,



and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in validating embedded systems involving hardware-software interactions.
- Good understanding of defect lifecycle and defect tracking tools.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks effectively with strong time management skills.
- Self-motivated team player with a quality-focused mindset and ownership attitude.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Quick learner with enthusiasm to acquire new technologies and domain knowledge.

Preferred/Added Advantage

- Experience in Smart Energy Meter testing and/or 4G/5G Cellular Modem testing.
- Knowledge of DLMS/COSEM protocol (for Smart Meter domain).
- Experience with test automation using Python, Shell scripting, or similar tools.

- Prepare, configure, and maintain test setups required for validation and test execution.
- Execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing for embedded software products.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects through closure.
- Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely issue resolution.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and execution activities while adhering to project schedules.
