SAP FICO Finance Consultant Role Summary We are seeking a seasoned SAP FI/CO Consultant possessing 5 to 8 years of practical expertise in the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and support of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate robust functional proficiency in core Financial Accounting and Controlling modules, coupled with comprehensive integration knowledge and the capacity to convert complex business needs into optimized SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and execute end-to-end activities for SAP S/4HANA projects, including new implementations, global rollouts, system upgrades, and ongoing support.
• Perform configuration and customization for SAP FI/CO components, specifically covering:
• FI: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting (BL).
• CO: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Product Costing (PC).
• Evaluate business requirements to architect and design efficient financial workflows and corresponding SAP solutions.
• Partner closely with finance stakeholders and technical teams to successfully deploy business requirements.
• Oversee the seamless integration between FI/CO and other SAP modules, such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), and Plant Maintenance (PM).
• Deliver production support services, including issue troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and the execution of corrective measures.
• Author functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms utilizing tools like IDOCs, BAPIs, and User Exits.




• Create test scenarios, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and produce comprehensive end-user documentation and training resources.
• Oversee project deliverables, support various workstreams, and provide mentorship to junior consultants. Requirements
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate 5–8 years of specialized experience in SAP FI/CO consulting.
• Have successfully completed at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.
• Hold mandatory hands-on proficiency with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Exhibit deep knowledge of S/4HANA capabilities, including New General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Parallel Accounting, and Document Splitting.
• Show advanced configuration skills in a minimum of three FI/CO sub-modules.
• Maintain a solid grasp of accounting standards and financial business processes.
• Possess practical experience with integration points connecting SAP SD, MM, and other logistics modules.
• Have a track record of drafting functional specifications for custom developments, reporting, interfaces, and system enhancements.
• Display robust analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, effective communication, and stakeholder management capabilities. Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
• Hold a valid SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
• Have prior experience working with Central Finance.
• Demonstrate familiarity with SAP Group Reporting or BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation).
• Have exposure to SAP Fiori Finance applications.
• Possess experience within consulting agencies or client-facing roles.
• Understand Agile and Scrum methodologies.
