Chennai R&D; Reports to (Position): Manager Department/Function: Number of Direct Reports (Solid Line): 0Number of Direct Reports (Dotted Line):0 Number of Outsourced Reports: 0 Purpose of the Job: Responsible To carry out product design & development activities of OHT category. Major

Responsibilities:
• Assist Product design and development in OHT category (Cavity, Tread pattern & Layout preparation) and validation through Simulation group.




• Prepare design input requirements based on customer voice and design benchmarking analysis Use design software to develop models and drawings of current products.
• Conceptualize and prepare design proposals.
• Prepare of detail manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare of input for Mould design.
• Prepare of design documents for OHT.
• Coordinate with Product team and test centre for design validation.
• CFT visit for Product performance study in field for specific defect analysis.
• Preparation of physical test reports & analysis.
• Parametric technique development for tread pattern, layout and cavity of OHT category.

Skills:
Software skills and hands-on experience in; a) CATIA / NX b) AutoCad Relevant

Experience:
2 to 3 years experience in Tire design experience Education Qualification(s): Graduate engineer in Mechanical or Automobile
