Job Summary

Maxroof is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sheeting Detailer with experience in roofing and cladding systems for industrial and commercial projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, sheet layouts, and installation details for roofing and wall cladding systems, ensuring accuracy, material optimization, and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed shop drawings for roofing sheets, wall cladding, and metal sheeting systems.
- Develop sheeting layouts, panel arrangements, flashing details, ridge details, gutters, and other roofing accessories.
- Interpret architectural drawings, structural drawings, and project specifications.
- Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs, and sheeting quantity calculations.
- Coordinate with design, project, production, and site execution teams to ensure accurate detailing.
- Verify dimensions, sheet lengths, overlaps, and installation requirements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in drawings and site measurements.
- Revise drawings based on client comments, design changes, and site requirements.
- Ensure drawings are prepared according to project specifications and quality standards.




- Support project teams with technical clarifications related to sheeting and cladding installation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in roofing, sheeting, cladding, or PEB detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of roofing profiles, metal sheets, wall cladding, flashings, gutters, and accessories.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Understanding of material calculations, cutting lists, and quantity estimation.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in industrial roofing and wall cladding projects.
- Knowledge of PEB structures and metal roofing systems.
- Experience preparing shop drawings and installation drawings for site execution.
- Familiarity with roofing sheet profiles, overlaps, fasteners, and accessories.
