Position: Sr. Engineer (Plating Line Quality)

Education: B.E – Chemical Engineer / B.Sc. Chemistry

Experience: Experience Field: 4 - 5 Years’ (Zinc Plating, Zinc Phosphating, Surtec-650)

Process Knowledge : Zinc Phosphating / Pre-treatment Line / Zinc Plating / Powder coating

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Desired Background:

1. Knowledge in final inspection of surface finishing Coatings.

2. Making PDI Documents.

3. Involve in the NPD parts.

4. Hands-on handling instruments (DFT, pH Meter, Conductivity)

5. Understanding Drawings.

6. Surface Finishing inspection knowledge.

7. Ready to work in Shifts.

8. QMS Knowledge.

Specific skills: 1. Customer complaint handling – Communication (Kannada, English, Tamil/Hindi).

2. Knowledge on Problem solving tools-8D Preparation, Kaizen.

3. Proficient in the use of the personal computer and the Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

4. Should have some inspection planning skill.

Job Description:





.1 Regular production lot parts inspection and documents for Zn phosphating, Zinc 1plating, achromatizing, Surtec 650 lines.

2. Yearly make Plan the chemical supplier visit for each line, parameter verification and supplier recommendation to implemented.

3. Each lines daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly qualification (SST, Parameter testing, oil content, Iron content. coating weight etc.) to be performed and documented.

4. Involve in the NPI parts development plan and trial to be planned, implemented as per road map.

5. Regular inspection records to be tracked and daily issues to be addressed with the Operators through Quality Alerts.

6. Quality KPI parameters to monitor identify the lags and work towards to achieve the target.
