Job Description – Billing Engineer
Location: Parel, Mumbai
Experience: 3+ Years
CTC: Up to ₹8 LPA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:-
Billing & Certification
- Prepare and verify RA bills for contractors and sub-contractors
- Check measurement sheets (M-Book) against site work and drawings
- Process final bills, escalation claims and deductions
Quantity Estimation
- Take off quantities from architectural and structural drawings (civil, finishing, MEP interface)
- Prepare BOQs and rate analysis for new and extra items
- Reconcile materials (cement, steel, etc.) against theoretical consumption
Cost Control & Reporting
- Track budget vs. actual cost and flag variances
- Maintain work order and variation/extra item records
- Prepare monthly billing and cost reports for management
Coordination
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors and the accounts team for bill clearance
- Support contractor finalisation with quantity and rate inputs
Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of RA billing, BOQ preparation and rate analysis
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD (quantity take-off)
- Familiarity with IS codes / IS 1200 methods of measurement
- Working knowledge of ERP (SAP / Highrise / similar) is an advantage
- Good documentation, reconciliation and coordination skills
Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of billing experience with a developer, builder or contractor
- Experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects preferred
- Candidates residing near Parel, Lower Parel, Dadar, Worli, Sewri, Byculla, Wadala, Matunga and Central/Western line suburbs preferred
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹67,000.00 per month
