We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Site Measurement & CAD Executive to join our modular interior team in Chennai (Anna Nagar & Kovilambakkam). Freshers with positive 2D AutoCAD knowledge are welcome to apply!
In this role, you will be the key link between customer sites and our interior design team. You will visit client sites across Chennai to take precise measurements and convert those site dimensions into clear 2D AutoCAD layout drawings back at our showroom. Your drawings will form the accurate technical foundation for our interior designers to build 3D modular designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Visits & Surveying: Travel to customer sites across Chennai to complete physical measurements of walls, room heights, doors, windows, electrical points, and plumbing lines.
- Hand Sketches & Verification: Create clear field hand-sketches on-site, capturing beam drops, column positions, and structural obstacles.
- AutoCAD Drafting: Return to the showroom and convert field measurements into accurate 2D AutoCAD floor plans and elevation drawings.
- Designer Handover: Present verified CAD drawings to the Interior Designers and explain key site constraints.
- Data Management: Organize digital CAD files,
project photo logs, and site measurement sheets for smooth project execution.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Freshers to 2 years of experience. (Diploma / ITI / BE in Civil, Architecture, or Interior Design preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (mandatory course completion or academic project experience).
- Vehicle Requirement (Mandatory): Must own a two-wheeler with a valid Driving License for daily site visits across Chennai. (Fuel/Travel Allowance Provided).
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, willingness to learn on-field work, and strong time management.
- Language: Fluency in Tamil (for site/client coordination in Chennai) and basic English.
