The Remote Healthcare Voice Support Specialist delivers high-quality clinical support and customer care to patients, caregivers, and medical providers via inbound and outbound telephone calls. Working entirely from home, this qualified leverages their clinical background to handle medical inquiries, tele-triage, and patient coordination while ensuring an exceptional, empathetic service experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Virtual Patient Support: Manage inbound and outbound calls from a quiet, dedicated home office space with maximum privacy and zero background noise.

* Telephonic Triage & Consultation: Evaluate patient symptoms using standard clinical protocols, routing individuals to the appropriate level of care.

* Accurate Data Entry: Document call details, medical histories, actions taken, and recommended follow-ups instantly in the cloud-based CRM or Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

* Critical Care Escalation: Recognize life-threatening symptoms quickly and coordinate immediate emergency transfers or physician interventions according to protocol.

* Compliance & Data Privacy: Adhere strictly to healthcare privacy laws (such as HIPAA, GDPR, or local data privacy laws) to secure sensitive patient data in a remote environment.

* Insurance & Navigation Assistance: Answer billing, claims, pre-authorization, or prescription-related questions accurately to guide patients through their healthcare journeys.





Work-from-Home Requirements

* Workspace: A private, quiet, and secure home office space with a lockable door to maintain absolute patient confidentiality.

* Internet Connection: High-speed internet connection (minimum [e.g., 50 Mbps] download and upload speeds) via a hardwired Ethernet connection (no public or shared Wi-Fi).

* Power Backup: Reliable power backup (UPS/Inverter) to ensure uninterrupted connectivity during scheduled working shifts.

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Education & License:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing), GNM, Pharmacy, or equivalent medical/paramedical field.
- Active, unrestricted nursing or medical registration/license is highly preferred.

* Experience:

- 1–3 years of experience in a clinical setup (hospital/clinic) or a medical voice process/healthcare BPO setting.
- Prior remote work experience is an added advantage.

* Communication & Technical Skills:

- Excellent verbal and written English skills, including strong active listening capabilities and a professional phone etiquette.
- Comfortable navigating multiple browser tabs, digital tools, communication platforms (like Zoom or MS Teams), and typing at a speed of at least 35-40 WPM.
