We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team full-time in a remote role.

The ideal candidate should understand short-form content, storytelling, pacing, hooks, and visual engagement. You should be capable of transforming raw footage into polished, engaging, and platform-ready videos for brands, creators, and businesses.

You will work on content for Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms, collaborating with our creative team to deliver high-quality videos for clients across different industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media content.
- Create engaging edits with strong hooks, smooth transitions, dynamic pacing, captions, and sound design.
- Transform raw footage into polished, audience-focused content.
- Add motion graphics, animations, subtitles, visual effects, and relevant B-roll when required.
- Edit talking-head videos, podcasts, educational content, UGC videos, and promotional content.
- Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across projects.
- Collaborate with the content and creative team to execute video concepts.
- Manage multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Incorporate client and team feedback and complete revisions efficiently.
- Stay updated with video editing trends, formats, and techniques.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in video editing or a robust portfolio demonstrating equivalent skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Strong understanding of short-form video content and social media trends.
- Good sense of storytelling, visual composition, pacing, and music selection.
- Ability to create engaging captions, transitions, and basic motion graphics.




- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with a team.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous editing work is required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience editing content for international clients, creators, or consumer brands.
- Experience with talking-head videos, podcasts, educational content, and UGC-style advertisements.
- Knowledge of retention-focused editing and attention-grabbing openings.
- Skills in colour correction, audio enhancement, motion graphics, and visual effects.
- Understanding of how editing styles differ across Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos.
