Quality Architect - Digital Assurance

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Architect - Digital Assurance to lead quality engineering initiatives, design scalable test automation solutions, and drive enterprise-wide quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium Automation, Playwright with TypeScript, and Automation Framework Architecture , with proven experience in architecting up-to-date test solutions and enabling quality transformation across Agile and DevOps environments. This role requires a hands-on leader who can define testing strategy, mentor teams, and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Must Have

- 9-12 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation
- Strong experience in Selenium Automation
- Hands-on expertise in Playwright with TypeScript
- Proven experience in Automation Framework Design and Development
- Experience working as a QA Architect / Test Architect
- Strong understanding of Test Strategy, Test Architecture, and Quality Governance
- Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Agile, SDLC, and STLC
- Experience in UI, API, and End-to-End Test Automation
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript




- Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor teams, and drive automation adoption
- Experience defining QA standards, quality metrics, and release-readiness criteria

Good to Have

- API Automation using Postman or Rest Assured
- Experience with Performance Testing and Security Testing
- Exposure to Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Microservices Testing
- Experience with reporting tools such as Allure Reports, Extent Reports, or ReportPortal
- Accessibility Testing and Cross-Browser Testing experience
- Relevant certifications in Automation Testing, Quality Engineering, Agile, or DevOps

Key Responsibilities

- Define and implement enterprise-level Quality Engineering and Automation strategies.
- Architect scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks.
- Drive adoption of Playwright and Selenium-based automation solutions.
- Establish test governance, best practices, and quality standards.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end quality.
- Mentor QA engineers and provide architectural guidance.
- Monitor quality metrics and continuously improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Drive innovation and modernization of testing practices across the organization
