Job description for anETL Tester in the insurance domain

- Core responsibilities:
- Candidates having 4 years of experience in ETL / data validation with strong SQL Queries, reconciliation, test case design, defect tracking, regression testing, and automation across source, staging and warehouse.
- Focus needed on validating end-to-end data movement, transformation accuracy, and reconciliation across insurance data pipelines.
- Domain expectation: Candidates should understand insurance processes and data entities such as policy, claims, billing, underwriting, premium, reserves, and reporting controls.
- Must-have skills:
- Strong acumen with verification and validation mindset.
- Advanced SQL, ETL / data testing experience working with Oracle / SQL Server.




- Basic data warehousing knowledge including schemas and table structures.
- Strong analytical / test design skills.
- Experience with any defect tracking tool like HP-ALM, Service Now or JIRA.
- Excellent communication skills needed for offshore / onshore model.
- Nice to have:
- Ability to gain understanding of the domain knowledge to test the data properly
- Energetic Data Modelling experience.
- Experience with any AI tools + automation tools for testing.
- Knowledge of ETL tools like SSIS / SSAS.
- Knowledge of XML and parsing.
