We are looking for a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of experience managing SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance, and providing technical support. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance system efficiency and security.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain SAP Basis systems including installations, upgrades, and patches.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Perform system backups and recovery tasks to safeguard data integrity.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve system issues and enhance performance.
- Implement and manage user roles, authorizations, and security configurations.
- Assist in SAP system migrations and cloud implementations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP Basis-related issues.
- Document processes and procedures related to SAP Basis administration.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
- Solid knowledge of SAP architecture and system landscape.
- Experience with SAP HANA, ABAP, and NetWeaver.
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).
- Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) relevant to SAP environments.
- Knowledge of SAP security concepts and user administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
