We are seeking a Collection Manager to lead our collections team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the collection process, developing strategies to improve recovery rates, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the collection process for overdue accounts
- Develop and implement collection strategies to improve recovery rates
- Negotiate payment plans with clients and ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate records of collections activities and client interactions
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and disputes
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance and status of accounts
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in collections or debt recovery
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with collection software and databases
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail
