About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer with DevOps capabilities to build, deploy and operate the applications that power Anytime Diesel. You will develop features across PHP and Java back-end services and React Native mobile applications, while owning reliable AWS deployments, automation, monitoring and production support. This role combines product engineering with infrastructure ownership in a rapid-growing technology-led business.

Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop and maintain scalable features across PHP and Java services and React Native applications for iOS and Android.
· Build secure REST APIs and integrate them with MySQL and Firebase, including Authentication, Firestore or Realtime Database, and Cloud Messaging.




· Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing and low-disruption deployments.
· Provision, configure and manage AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC and CloudWatch, using Infrastructure as Code where appropriate.
· Monitor application health; implement logging and alerts; troubleshoot incidents and lead root-cause analysis.
· Improve cloud security, application performance, uptime, reliability and infrastructure cost efficiency.
· Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and technical design discussions; maintain clear technical documentation.
· Build and maintain scalable web and mobile applications supporting customer bookings, order processing, delivery tracking and operational workflows.
· Develop integrations with payment gateways, GPS/location services, notifications and other third-party services as business requirements demand.
· Implement robust API validation, error handling, authentication, authorization and audit trails.
· Own release processes, environment configuration, application monitoring, rollback procedures and production incident resolution.
· Implement automated unit, integration and API tests, ensuring deployment readiness.
· Optimize application performance, cloud resource utilization and database interactions in coordination with the Database Engineer.



Required Skills & Experience
· 4+ years of hands-on full stack development experience (overall role target: 4–8 years).
· Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel or a comparable framework) and/or Java (Spring Boot).
· Production experience with React Native apps on Android and iOS, including publishing to Google Play and the Apple App Store.
· Strong MySQL fundamentals: SQL queries, indexing and basic performance optimization.
· Practical knowledge of AWS services and Linux administration.
· Hands-on CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins, along with Git workflows.
· Experience integrating Firebase services into production applications.
· Sound understanding of REST APIs, JWT/OAuth authentication and secure coding practices. Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
· Docker, Kubernetes or AWS ECS.
· Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation for Infrastructure as Code.
· Monitoring platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus or Datadog.
· AWS certification (Solutions Architect, Developer or DevOps Engineer).
· Automated testing with PHPUnit, JUnit or Jest. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. What Success Looks Like
