With our service, you can save on travel costs while contributing to a greener environment, making your daily commute smooth, stress-free, efficient, cost effective and sustainable. We are currently building a multi-tenant SaaS platform that lets logistics and transport businesses run their operations on one system: fleet and driver management, load and trip planning, real-time tracking, billing, and customer portals. Fleet owners, 3PLs, freight forwarders and transporters each get their own secure, configurable workspace on a shared platform. The logistics market is large, fragmented and still run on spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups and legacy software. We are an early-stage team with a validated problem, and a clear plan to scale. We are looking for a technical co-founder to build the product and the engineering organisation with us from day one. Role overviewTitle: Technical Co-Founder Reports to: CEO / Co-founder (peer relationship, shared decision-making)
Location:
[ Bangalore / Hybrid] Type: Equity-led founding role You will own the technology vision and architecture of the platform, ship the first production version, and grow the engineering team. You are a founder first: you share accountability for product, customers, fundraising and culture, not just code.
Key responsibilities
Product and architecture
• Design and own a scalable multi-tenant architecture: tenant isolation, per-tenant configuration, role-based access control, white-labelling and usage-based billing hooks.
• Choose the tech stack, data model and tenancy strategy (shared schema, schema-per-tenant or database-per-tenant) based on cost, security and scale.
• Build core modules: order and shipment management, trip and route planning, fleet and driver management, GPS and telematics tracking, e-POD, invoicing and settlement.
• Design APIs and integrations with GPS/IoT devices, e-way bill and GST systems, payment gateways, ERPs, maps and routing services, and WhatsApp/SMS notifications. Engineering and delivery
• Ship an MVP in [2–3 months],
then iterate quickly with customer feedback.
• Set up CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, logging, backups and disaster recovery.
• Own security, data privacy and compliance, including tenant data separation, audit trails and applicable Indian data-protection requirements.
• Plan for real-time, high-volume workloads such as location pings, event streams and notifications. Leadership and company building
• Hire, mentor and lead the first engineers, designers and QA; define engineering culture and standards.
• Partner with the CEO on roadmap, pricing, go-to-market and customer discovery; join sales calls and pilots.
• Represent technology to investors, partners and enterprise customers during due diligence and fundraising. Required qualifications
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years building and shipping SaaS products end to end.
• Proven experience designing multi-tenant systems: tenant isolation, RBAC, configuration per tenant, and scaling data stores.
• Robust full-stack skills, for example Node.js, Python, Go or Java on the backend and React, Next.js or similar on the frontend.
• Solid with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and comfortable with caching, queues and event-driven design (Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS).
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure), containers, Kubernetes or equivalent, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks and third-party integrations.
• Working knowledge of application security: authentication (OAuth2, SSO), encryption, OWASP risks, audit logging.
• Has led or mentored engineers, or been an early engineer or tech lead at a startup.
• Able to make pragmatic trade-offs between speed and quality, and to write production code yourself in the first year. Nice to have
• Prior work in logistics, supply chain, fleet management, TMS/WMS, mobility or marketplaces.
• Experience with GPS/telematics data, route optimisation, geospatial databases (PostGIS) or map APIs.
• Mobile app experience (React Native or Flutter) for driver and field apps, including offline-first design.
• Experience with AI/ML for ETA prediction, load matching or demand forecasting.
• Previous startup exit, founding experience, or fundraising exposure.
• Industry network among transporters, 3PLs, shippers or logistics tech companies. Co-founder fit
• Ownership mindset: treats the company's outcomes as personal, and stays through uncertainty.
• Customer-obsessed: willing to visit transport yards and talk to dispatchers and drivers to understand real workflows.
• Builder and leader: can write the first version and also hire the team that replaces your own code.
• Clear communicator: explains technical choices to non-technical founders, customers and investors.
• Comfortable with ambiguity: thrives with limited resources and changing priorities.
• Aligned values: transparent, direct and committed to a long-term build, with a full-time commitment from [start date].
