Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant for a jewellery showroom based in Gurugram. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GST and TDS filing, bank reconciliation, and financial record management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare and file GST returns and TDS returns within the prescribed deadlines.
- Perform bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Process vendor payments and maintain vendor accounts.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Maintain ledgers and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.




- Reconcile vendor accounts and follow up on outstanding payments and receivables.
- Maintain proper documentation for GST, TDS, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with management, vendors, and other departments regarding accounting matters.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Practical experience in GST and TDS return filing.
- Positive understanding of bank reconciliation, vendor payments, and ledger management.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and maintaining accounting records.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, honesty, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in the jewellery or retail industry will be an added advantage.
