Key Responsibilities

- Develop design concepts, mechanisms, and product architectures for aircraft seating systems.
- Perform detailed 3D modeling, assembly design, and 2D drafting using CATIA V5/V6.
- Create and maintain BOMs, engineering drawings, and design documentation.
- Lead seating component design and integration activities to meet customer, airframe, and regulatory requirements.
- Apply GD&T;, DFMEA, design optimization, and change management processes during product development.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Stress, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program teams.
- Support design reviews, prototype development, testing, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, certification requirements, and internal design processes

Skill and Experience Preferred





- 3 to 6 Years of experience in mechanical design using CATIA V5 or CATIA V6.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Aerospace or aircraft interiors/seating experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, assembly design, and engineering drafting.
- Experience in BOM creation, design release, and engineering change management.
- Good understanding of mechanical design principles, mechanisms, GD&T;, and tolerance analysis.
- Familiarity with DFMEA, design optimization, and product development processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly considerations.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
