Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor day-to-day road construction activities at the project site. Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, workers, and vendors for smooth site execution. Monitor earthwork, excavation, embankment, sub-grade, GSB, WMM, and road pavement activities. Assist in checking levels, measurements, alignment, and dimensions at site. Maintain daily site records, measurements, work progress, and material consumption. Assist in quantity measurement and preparation of Measurement Books (MB) and basic site documentation. Monitor construction materials and ensure proper utilization at site. Identify site issues and coordinate with senior engineers for timely resolution. Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and site discipline.
Prepare regular progress updates and report site-related issues to the reporting engineer/project manager. Required Skills Good knowledge of civil construction and road construction activities. Understanding of basic construction drawings and site measurements. Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage. Basic knowledge of surveying, leveling, and quantity measurement. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage site activities and work with contractors/workers. Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel. Robust willingness to work at a project site.
