About the Role
GoToUniversity is looking for an experienced medical professional to join our team as a Medical School Admissions Counselor. In this role, you will interact with students aspiring to pursue Medicine abroad and their parents, understand their career goals, and guide them through international medical education opportunities. You will use your medical knowledge and professional experience to explain medical education pathways, universities, licensing requirements, postgraduate specialisation, and career opportunities across different countries. Beyond providing guidance, you will be responsible for presenting GoToUniversity's services, building trust with prospective families, addressing their concerns, and converting counselling enquiries into enrolments. This is a counselling and business development role, not a clinical position. We provide comprehensive training on international admissions and our counselling processes. Prior study abroad experience is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities




• Conduct one-to-one counselling meetings with prospective medical students and their parents, both online and offline.
• Understand students' academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and family expectations.
• Guide families on MBBS opportunities in India and abroad, medical education pathways, licensing examinations, postgraduate training, and international career prospects.
• Explain university options, admission processes, and the advantages of different medical education pathways.
• Present GoToUniversity's counselling and admissions services to prospective families.
• Build credibility, address objections, resolve concerns, and help families make informed decisions.
• Follow up with prospective students and parents to move them towards enrolment.
• Achieve monthly counselling, conversion, and revenue targets. Candidate Profile
• MBBS or equivalent recognised medical qualification – Mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of post-MBBS professional experience in any medical field.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and persuasive abilities.
• Comfortable interacting with parents and students and conducting professional consultation meetings.
• Ability to explain complex medical and career-related concepts in simple language.
• Willingness to transition from clinical practice into an education advisory role.
