New Product Development

• Understand the design/drawing of Compressor assembly as well as child parts according to BOM.
• Design/development & trial of tools like Jigs / Fixture / Gauges according to Current product requirements.
• Make proto-sample to validate Process / Product parameters and submit to customer for testing.
• Conduct production trial run (PTR) with cross functional team (CFT).
• Submit countermeasure against the observations raised in during PTR & PPAP.
• make New product routing process like Machines, Tasks & Work centre in the ERP software for dispatch process.
• Model Handover to respective departments with all the documents as per procedure. New Equipment Development

• Co ordination with Utility team for utility connection for new equipment.
• Make layout for new machines.
• New equipment installation.
• Conduct trial of new equipment.
• Handover new equipment to concern departments with all the documents as per procedure.



Process Design & Development
-
• Make Process flow diagram/chart to understand the product assembly flow/sequence for all new and existing processes.
• Identify Potential failure modes, causes & effects on the product and provide control against the failure modes/causes.
• Make control plan with product as well as process parameters.
• Preparation of Operator Instruction sheet (OIC/ WI ) for all Processes & Assembly.
• Calculate cycle time of each station to identify capacity of the assembly line.
• Give training to operator as per work instructions.
• Initial process studies like Cp, Cpk studies, MSA, R&R; etc.
• Implementation of improvement activities for process capability enhancement. Quality Improvements,Productivity Improvements, External & Internal Audits -
